My given name is Bruce Woodruff Kurt, and as far as I know I'm the only person on this planet with that name; but call me Sanity, many folks do.
I'm a rebel with a cause. My cause is constitutional government. Not just government existing under constitutions held high upon pedestals as cultural icons, but a government which actually abides within the prescriptions and proscriptions of those constitutions as they are written, not as they are interpreted by some biased "public servant."
As Daniel Webster said, January 26, 1830, "It is, Sir, the people's Constitution, the people's government, made for the people, made by the people, and answerable to the people." A government "of the people, by the people, and for the people" (Lincoln's Gettysburg Address) is a ministerial special trust. Public servants are the people's trustees. No servant has jurisdiction to tell his master what to do or how to think.
To be an author is to have a thesis too grind. I venture to show my opinions, with a sincere desire to have Peace and justice maintained and promoted by good government. Not desiring any person to approve of my observations any farther than he or she finds them agreeable to the principals of justice and right reason dictated by his conscience.
Except for compilation and publication as an anthology, which I intend to do myself someday for the money, I declare my writings to be public domain.
Most of my essays can be formatted to fit on one side of an 8½X11 sheet of paper. This is to promote distribution in hard copy to get the word out to those not on the Web.
My IQ was last measured, while I was talking my way out of the Marine Corps back in 1969, at over 185. The problem with having a super high IQ is often a swelled head replete with a know-it-all attitude. Thankfully I am not so impaired and will and do readily admit to stubbing my toes on numerous occasions. In short, although adamant, my opinions are not so hide-bound that I consider them what everyone must hold, only what they should. Comments and criticisms, via e-mail, be they constructive or destructive, are solicited and will be appreciated. I can and do learn from it all.
